Aelish has been receiving traditional acupuncture since 2014 and as a result of her own positive experience she started studying in 2018 at The Acupuncture Academy (TAA) in Warwickshire. TAA is a degree level course, fully accredited by the British Acupuncture Accreditation board. Aelish’s training so far has been extensive and covered all aspects of Chinese medicine and acupuncture theory.
Aelish’s approach is totally holistic respecting how the physical, mental and emotional areas of the body work together and compliment each other in the process of self healing.
Aelish has a particular interest in woman’s health and is dedicated in expanding this area of her practice.
Over the last six months, she has treated patients with a wide variety of conditions . Please see the link for evidence-based research of some of the conditions that acupuncture can help with: https://www.acupuncture.org.uk/a-to-z-of-conditions/a-to-z-of-conditions.html.
Treatment focus is a Five Element Acupuncture approach which considers a person's immediate symptoms as well as addressing the wider issues that might affect a person's general health and well being.
Aelish understands the importance of creating a healing space where the patient feels heard, understood and cared for.
"Chinese medicine has allowed me both personally and professionally to experience and understand the power of the body and its ability to self heal . This journey has transformed my life and I am passionate about sharing this knowledge with others."
