Aelish is a fully qualified classical acupuncturist, having been awarded a professional licentiate from The Acupuncture Academy (TAA) and has been highly commended for her clinical skills. Aelish has trained in all aspects of Chinese medicine and acupuncture theory including Traditional Chinese Medicine with a particular focus on Five Element acupuncture. Aelish is a full member of the British Acupuncture Council and adheres to the council’s Code of Safe Practice and professional conduct.
Aelish’s approach is holistic. This aims to identify and correct imbalances and disharmonies in the physical, mental and emotional areas of a person’s health. Aelish aims to support you in returning to health and balance which can lead to an overall sense of well-being and have long lasting physical and emotional benefits.
During her time in general practice, Aelish has gained experience treating both adults and teenagers with various presenting issues who have struggled to find relief in response to more conventional medical approaches. These issues include pain conditions, headaches, autoimmune disorders, neurological disorders, allergies, anxiety and fertility issues. Aelish has a particular interest in women's health and mental health and is passionate about expanding these areas of her practice.
Aelish is passionate about making people feel their very best and also understands the importance of creating a healing space where the patient feels heard, understood and cared for.
