Em has been a professional dancer since 2013, and was introduced to Yoga at the start of her career.
It instantly started to aid her dance and overall wellbeing, helping her to understand her body on a deeper level and teaching her ways of controlling her anxiety (something that she has struggled with her whole life).
Em soon fell in love with the practice and the changes she began to notice were huge. She found that she was stronger, more flexible and above all, calmer.
In 2018 she decided to combine her love of teaching dance with her love of yoga and went on to complete her 200hr Teaching training.
Since then she has completed training in Yin Yoga, Prenatal Yoga and Mandala Vinyasa Yoga.
Her classes allow people to find space, freedom, and a sense of joyful movement in the body, drawing inspiration from her many years as a dancer to deliver creative, fun and expressive classes.
Her hope is that through enthusiasm, encouragement and passion she can make anyone feel confident in their own practice.
Em offers two weekly classes at Melton Wellness House. A Gentle Flow which is suitable for prenatal students, and a more dynamic Vinyasa Flow. You will also find her from time to time offering Mandala Workshops and Courses.
